Why Foofwa ?
Because Jean-Luc was already taken.

Why d’Imobilité ?
Because with two m's, it was too long.
And because the dialectic between movement and immobility doesn't interest him.

After seven years given to the metaphysics of Merci Cunningham, Foofwa d’Imobilité begins his work of choreographer and creates a certain amount of NIMO (Non Identifiable Moving Objects). He founds Neopost Ahrrrt in Geneva, explores historicity of dance, the digital body, invents the "dancerun" and trains body and soul to an ungraspable neologism.

Pourquoi Foofwa ?
Parce que Jean-Luc était déjà pris.

Pourquoi d’Imobilité ?
Parce qu'avec deux "m", c'était trop long.
Et parce que la dialectique entre mouvement et immobilité ne l'intéresse pas.

Après sept ans passés à la métaphysique de Merci Cunningham, Foofwa d’Imobilité commence son travail de chorégraphe et crée un certain nombre d'OMNI (Objets Mouvants Non Identifiables). Il fonde à Genève Néopost Ahrrrt, explore l'historicité de la danse, le corps numérique, invente la "dancerun" et s'exerce en corps et toujours au néologisme insaisissable.
